Maple belt of a drive of the pump  of the hydraulic booster of a steering
Removal of a maple belt is carried out in the following order:
– disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery;
– brake the car the parking brake;
– lift a forward part of the car and establish it on supports;
– remove the case of the air filter;
– remove the top casing of the engine (AFN engine);
– turn forward wheels against the stop to the right. For improvement of access to belts of a drive of auxiliary units remove a forward right wheel;
– weaken bolts of fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering and turn the pump round the top support to the engine;
– remove maple a belt from a pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering;
– examine maple a belt on existence of damages and if necessary replace it.
Installation of a maple belt is carried out in sequence, return to removal. The tension of a maple belt on early models is regulated by means of a tension bolt. For this purpose weaken nuts and bolts of fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering. Rotation of a tension bolt establish a demanded tension of a belt and tighten a lock bolt. Tighten nuts and bolts of fastening of the pump.
On late models change of a tension of a belt is carried out by rotation of an adjusting bolt at which there is a turn of the case of the pump. After adjustment tighten fixing nut of the mechanism of a tension.
Repeatedly check a tension of a maple belt after a pro-collar of a cranked shaft on two complete revolutions.
Flat belt of a drive of the generator
Removal of a flat belt carry out in the following order:
– disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery;
– lift a forward part of the car and establish it on supports;
– turn forward wheels against the stop to the right and remove the right forward wheel;
– remove the plastic air lines located in a zone of the right forward wheel;
– on cars equipped with the hydraulic booster it is necessary to remove an auxiliary V-shaped belt of a drive of the pump of the amplifier of a steering;
– note on a flat belt the direction of its movement.
For the cars equipped with the automatic mechanism of a tension
By means of an adjustable wrench turn the lever of a roller of the mechanism of a tension clockwise and take away a roller on the maximum distance from a driving belt.
For the cars which have not been equipped with the automatic mechanism of a tension
Turn bolts of fastening of the generator on 1–2 turns;
overcoming resistance of a spring, turn the generator round the top support.
For all cars
Remove a flat belt from a pulley of the generator and then from other pulleys.
Installation and tension of a flat belt Is carried out in the following order:
according to a label of the direction of movement of a flat belt establish it on a pulley of a cranked shaft so that edges of a belt got to the corresponding grooves of a pulley;
For the cars equipped with the automatic mechanism of a tension

By means of an adjustable wrench turn the lever of a roller of the mechanism of a tension clockwise, overcoming resistance of a spring (fig. 3.68) ;
establish an auxiliary driving belt on pulleys in the following order: the pump of cooling liquid, the compressor of the conditioner and the generator;
remove an adjustable spanner. The mechanism will make a tension of an auxiliary driving belt.
For the cars which have not been equipped with the automatic mechanism of a tension
Turn the generator round the top support before complete compression of a spring and track that it freely came back to a starting position. Otherwise unscrew fastening bolts for a half of turn;
turn the generator round the top support before complete compression of a spring and establish an auxiliary driving belt on a generator pulley then release the generator. Thus there will be a tension of a driving belt;
connect the accumulator and start the engine on 10 with in an idling mode;
switch off the engine and tighten at first the bottom then top bolts of fastening of the generator the demanded moment of an inhaling.
For all cars
There where is available, establish an auxiliary V-shaped driving belt of a drive of the pump of the hydraulic booster;
establish on the places plastic air lines;
establish the right forward wheel and remove the car from supports.
