Repair B3-B4/Passat B3-B4 Volkswagen Passat>> Engines>> Diesel engines>> Gear pulley of a cranked shaft
Removal of a gear pulley of a cranked shaft is carried out in the following order:
– remove the contact socket from the electromagnetic valve останова the engine;
– remove a belt of a drive of auxiliary units;
– establish the cylinder No. 1 piston in VMT of a step of compression (see подразд. 3.3.3);

– remove a pulley 2 (see fig. 3.64 ) a cranked shaft;
– remove a gear belt of a drive of GRM (see подразд. 3.3.4);
– unscrew a bolt of the 5th fastening of a gear pulley of a cranked shaft and remove a pulley 18. For this purpose it is necessary to block a cranked shaft from a provorachivaniye. On cars with a mechanical transmission include the fifth transfer and brake the car the parking brake, with an automatic transmission — remove a forward cover of a transmission and a screw-driver or mount block a cranked shaft for a gear wreath of a flywheel.
Installation of a gear pulley of a cranked shaft is carried out in the following order:
– clear interfaced surfaces of a gear pulley and a cranked shaft;
– establish a gear pulley 18 (see fig. 3.64 ), having combined a ledge of a nave of a pulley with a flute on cranked to a shaft;
– tighten a bolt of the 5th fastening of a gear pulley the moment of 90 N · m, then tighten it on a corner 90 °;
– establish a gear belt of a drive of GRM (see подразд. 3.3.4);

– check combination of all adjusting labels: a flywheel (see fig. 3.61 ), a gear pulley of a camshaft (see fig. 3.5 ) and a gear pulley of TNVD (fig. 3.67) ;
– establish covers 19 and 20 (see fig. 3.64 ) GRM drive;
– establish a pulley 2 cranked shaft;
– establish a belt 3 drives of auxiliary units and adjust its tension.
