The design of hydraulic pushers does not assume any adjustments in use the engine. However, if in the course of work excessive noise is audible, they can be checked as follows:
– start the engine and warm up it to working temperature;
– switch off the engine and uncover heads of the block of cylinders (see section 3.3.15);
– turn a cranked shaft of the engine for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft so that the cam of a camshaft of the first cylinder was directed up;
– using measuring щуп, check a gap between the basis of a cam and a hydraulic pusher and if a gap more than 0,1 mm, the hydraulic pusher is faulty and is subject to replacement;
– if the gap is less, than 0,1 mm, using the wooden or plastic tool, press the top part of a hydraulic pusher so that it contacted with the top part of a core of the valve;
– if the course of a hydraulic pusher more than 1 mm, a hydraulic pusher is faulty and is subject to replacement.

       PREVENTION
After installation of hydraulic pushers do not start the engine during at least 30 mines, otherwise there can be an impact of pistons to valves.
