Repair B3-B4/Passat B3-B4 Volkswagen Passat>> Engines>> Diesel engines>> Replacement of an epiploon of an intermediate shaft
Removal and installation of an epiploon of an intermediate shaft carry out in the following order:
– on the AFN engine remove the top casing of the engine;
– disconnect the tip from the electromagnetic valve of a stop of the engine;
– remove auxiliary driving belts;
– remove pulleys of auxiliary driving belts, a GRM belt, the mechanism of a tension of a GRM belt and a pulley of an intermediate shaft;
– unscrew screws and remove an internal casing of a GRM belt;
– unscrew screws and uncover an intermediate shaft;
– remove a sealing ring of an intermediate shaft;
– having greased a sealing ring with pure engine oil establish it to the place of the removed;
– installation of the removed elements make in sequence, return to removal.
