Installation of a transmission carry out in the following order:

check existence of directing pins in the block of cylinders of the engine for centering of a transmission and if necessary establish them;

raise a transmission and horizontally insert into coupling. If at installation the leading shaft of a transmission does not come into a coupling disk, turn primary shaft of a transmission by hand for a flange of a power shaft a little;

installation of a transmission carry out to sequences, return to removal. Consistently tighten bolts of fastening of a transmission to the engine;

establish the balance weight on a beam of a forward suspension bracket and tighten fastening bolts;

establish a starter;

turn, without tightening up to the end, bolts of fastening of a back left support of a transmission.

remove the adaptation for lifting of the engine and tighten a forward support of the engine, without tightening bolts up to the end;

establish the working cylinder of coupling on a place and tighten bolts the regulated moment. At cars with a mechanical drive of coupling establish a cable;

establish shaft of a drive of wheels;

establish the thermofilter of a power shaft;

establish an exhaust system;

connect a plait of wires of electroconducting to a transmission.

establish the mechanism of switching of a transmission.

NOTE If the tension of cables on levers weakened, adjust the switching mechanism.

Cars with a mechanical speedometer:

attach a cable of a drive of a speedometer to a transmission.

Cars with an electronic speedometer:

connect the electric socket to the sensor of a drive of a speedometer;

check oil level in a transmission;

lower the engine and a transmission and tighten bolts of fastening of support the regulated moment;

connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.

PREVENTION Wire to the negative plug of the storage battery connect only at the switched-off ignition in connection with danger of failure of the control unit injection system.
