System of injection of Mono-Jetronic

The system of injection of Mono-Jetronic finds and remembers malfunctions arising in use the car. Storing of only one malfunction is made. After reading and malfunction elimination, at carrying out repeated diagnostics possible following malfunction will be shown.

If the malfunctions of electric chains caused by temporary violation of a chain, do not repeat during the last 8 starts of the engine, they are erased from memory.

The highlighting of codes of malfunctions is made by a bulb located on a combination of devices. If at engine start the bulb lights up and dies away, means in system of self-diagnostics malfunctions are not written down. When reading codes of malfunction from memory, the bulb flashes.

Four-unit codes of malfunctions are highlighted in the form of consecutive groups of flashes of a bulb with pauses between groups of flashes during 2,5 pages. The code of malfunction is highlighted after a starting signal at which the bulb flashes and dies away on 2,5 villages.

Example of highlighting of a code of malfunction 2–3–4–2:

– flash by duration 2,5 with,

– pause of 2,5 pages.

Signal of a code of malfunction:

– two flashes,

– a pause 2,5 with,

– three flashes,

– a pause 2,5 with,

– four flashes,

– a pause 2,5 with,

– two flashes,

– pause of 2,5 pages.

For deleting of codes of malfunctions switch off ignition and, using an additional wire, connect to weight a conclusion of the diagnostic socket of red color or a yellow wire with a black strip of the socket of the coil of ignition. The diagnostic socket is located under a cover of the lever of gear shifting. Switch off ignition and through 5 with disconnect an additional wire from the socket, the malfunction code is thus erased. Codes of malfunction 2–3–4–1 and 2–3–4–3 are erased only after a socket detachment from the page control unit 30.

Other systems of injection

The system of injection finds and remembers malfunctions arising in use the car. It is possible to consider codes of malfunction only when using the special diagnostic equipment.

On all control systems of the engine identical codes of malfunctions are applied.
