PREVENTIONS 1. If the car is equipped with the conditioner, before removal of the engine it is necessary to address on HUNDRED to the corresponding expert for a detachment of elements of central air. 2. At a detachment of the storage battery from memory of the electronic control unit the system of injection of fuel erases information on malfunctions. Before a detachment it is recommended to take readings by means of the special diagnostic device on HUNDRED.

Removal of the engine is carried out in the following order:

– remove a body cowl;

– disconnect wires from negative and positive plugs of the storage battery;

– remove the storage battery from the car;

– merge cooling liquid;

– remove the forward panel of a motor compartment together with headlights;

– remove the case of the air filter;

– disconnect wires from the fan of cooling of the engine and a radiator;

– weaken collars of fastening of the top and bottom sleeves of a radiator and remove sleeves;

– remove a radiator together with the fan of cooling of the engine;

– disconnect hoses of system of cooling from unions on the engine and from a broad tank of system of cooling;

– disconnect wires from the generator;

– disconnect wires from sensors of pressure of oil;

– disconnect the contact socket from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid;

– disconnect a high-voltage wire from the central conclusion of a cover of the distributor of ignition;

– disconnect the contact socket from the ignition distributor;

– disconnect contact sockets from a transmission;

– disconnect the contact socket from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid;

– mark and disconnect all wires between a body and the engine;

– disconnect a wire of connection with "weight" from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders;

– disconnect wires from a starter;

– weaken collars of fastening and remove hoses of supply of cooling liquid to the heat exchanger;

– remove a hose of supply of cooling liquid to a head of the block of cylinders;

– remove the working cylinder of coupling from a case of a transmission and fix it in a motor compartment a wire, without disconnecting from it a hose;

– disconnect from a transmission a wire of connection with "weight";

– disconnect a cable of a drive of a speedometer from a transmission;

– disconnect elements of system of injection of fuel (the inlet pipeline, an accelerator cable, contact sockets from the butterfly valve case, топливопроводы, hoses of cooling liquid and vacuum hoses);

– disconnect a hose from the vacuum amplifier of brakes;

– remove the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering, without disconnecting from it hoses, and take him aside (on cars of the corresponding complete set).

For cars with a mechanical transmission:

– disconnect gear shifting cables.

For cars with an automatic transmission:

– establish the lever of the selector of a choice of transfers to the situation "R";

– disconnect a cable of switching of the lever of gear shifting;

– disconnect a bracket of a clamp and remove a cable;

– press hoses of cooling liquid and disconnect them from the heat exchanger.

For all cars:

– disconnect power shafts from a transmission and a wire tie up them to a body of cars;

– disconnect a reception pipe of the exhaust silencer from a final collector;

– raise and will hang out the power unit (the engine, coupling and a transmission assembled) by means of a manual or electric waist (or any other elevating mechanism);

– unscrew three bolts of fastening of the right support of the engine;

– unscrew a bolt of fastening of a support of a transmission;

– unscrew a nut of fastening of a forward support;

– check, whether all wires and hoses are disconnected from the engine and a transmission;

– lift the power unit so that it was released from support;

– take up and forward the power unit from a motor compartment by means of the elevating device;

– disconnect a transmission from the engine.

The general recommendations about dismantling of the engine are provided in подразд. 3.1.15.

Installation of the power unit is carried out in sequence, return to removal. Bolts and nuts of fastening of support of the power unit tighten after installation it on all support and rockings for ensuring its correct landing. After installation adjust an accelerator cable.
