Removal of an intermediate shaft is carried out in the following sequence:
– remove the engine from the car;
– remove the distributor ignitions (SOHC engines);
– remove a belt of a drive of GRM (see подразд. 3.1.4);

– remove a protective plate 7 (see fig. 3.2 );
– unscrew bolts of fastening and remove an arm of fastening of the generator;
– unscrew a bolt of fastening of a gear pulley of an intermediate shaft, holding a pulley from a provorachivaniye the special adaptation;
– remove a gear pulley of an intermediate shaft and a pulley shponka;

– unscrew bolts of fastening 8 (fig. 3.27) and uncover 10 intermediate shaft 12 with a sealing ring 11;
– remove an epiploon 9 intermediate shaft 12;
– remove an intermediate shaft 12;
– clear an intermediate shaft and examine it. In the presence of damages it is necessary to replace it.
Installation of an intermediate shaft is carried out in the following sequence:
– grease necks of an intermediate shaft 12 and accurately insert a shaft into the block of 17 cylinders;
– grease working edges of a new epiploon 9 intermediate shaft and insert an epiploon into a cover 10 intermediate shaft in careful blows of a hammer on an opravka;
– establish a new sealing ring 11 on a cover 10;
– establish a cover 10 on the block of cylinders and tighten it bolts 8;
– check axial люфт an intermediate shaft by means of the indicator of hour type.
Other operations execute in sequence, return to removal.
