The regulator of pressure changes brake effort on back wheels depending on car loading. Thus, the probability of blocking of back wheels decreases and stability of the car improves when braking. The pressure regulator (fig. 12.19) is located at the left on a back axis and (fig. 12.20) copes through a spring .

Check of a regulator carry out in the following order:

work carry out in situation when the car costs on wheels;

ask the assistant to supervise work of a regulator of pressure. Press against the stop and release the brake pedal, thus operating lever of a regulator should move.
