The fuel filter is established in a motor compartment behind the air filter. For water plum from the filter execute the following operations:
– take out a bracket of fastening of the distributive valve in the top part of the filter;
– take out the distributive valve with the fuel hoses attached to it;

– weaken the coupling screw of an arm 1 (fig. 2.3) and slightly raise the filter 3;
– establish under the filter the container for water;
– unscrew the drain gate 2;
– merge liquid from the filter and hold the gate 2 opened still some time, about 100 cm3 of fuel will not merge yet;
– wrap the gate 2;
– wipe all splashes or the fuel remains;
– establish the distributive valve, fix it a bracket 1;
– establish the filter in a starting position;
– wrap the coupling screw;
– start up the engine, in a mode of idling check the filter and connections of hoses on absence of leaks;
– finish frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft to 2000 mines-1, then let's to the engine return to an idling mode, repeat it several times and look at a fuel stream in the transparent hose, going to the fuel pump of a high pressure (TNVD), – in it there should not be air vials.
