Further the order of removal of transmission without dismantle of the power unit is given.
For removal of transmission the floor jack with an adapter under a case and basic racks is required.
Removal of transmission carry out in the following order:
disconnect a wire from the negative storage battery;
will hang out a forward part of the car and fix on basic racks to provide sufficient for access to transmission space;

       ATTENTION
Be convinced that the car is reliably fixed on basic racks. Use only those racks which are specially intended for car repairs. Car installation only on one jack is dangerous and can lead to a serious trauma.

disconnect the corresponding wire of "weight" from transmission;
disconnect a cable of a drive of a speedometer, or open the socket of the remote sensor being in the top back part of a case of transmission. Open other sockets of conducting of transmission;
transfer the selector lever to the situation Park and disconnect a cable of the selector of transfers from the lever on a transmission case;
remove the soaking-up air pipe located between the air filter of the engine, a measuring instrument of speed of a stream and a butterfly valve;

press collars hoses of a supply of cooling liquid to a cooler of transmission liquid and disconnect hoses (see fig. 8.76 );

prepare the lift or a jack, capable to sustain engine weight. It is recommended to use the special adaptation (fig. 8.77) ;
remove the valve of the stabilizer of idling together with an arm;
remove a starter;
unscrew the top bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine;
remove the left support of transmission;

       NOTE
On cars with application of anti-blocking system removal of a drain tank of cooling liquid can be necessary for access to the left support of transmission.

remove a protective plate of transmission, uncover the hydrotransformer;
remove the thermal guard mounted near the right internal CV JOINT, remove from a stretcher the balance weight;
disconnect from a semi-axis flange the right power shaft and fix it a rigid wire. Remove the left power shaft;
unscrew bolts of fastening of the hydrotransformer to a disk;
substitute under a transmission case a rack for keeping of a case or a jack with the corresponding adapter. Unscrew the bottom bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine;
carefully disconnect transmission from the engine and, having displaced on directing plugs, also carefully lower the unit;

       PREVENTION
In order to avoid falling of its hydrotransformer it is necessary to fix previously.

Installation of transmission carry out in sequence, return to removal.
Before installation be convinced available on places of directing plugs and that the hydrotransformer is reliably fixed. If necessary check and adjust a selector cable. If it is necessary, fill up level of transmission liquid and oil in a transmission.
