       PREVENTIONS
In this subsection the order of removal of a head of the block of cylinders with inlet and final collectors assembled is described. It considerably reduces removal time, but thus it is necessary to use the load-lifting mechanism.
On engines with system of injection of fuel before dismantle of a head of the block of cylinders remove the fuse of the fuel pump from the assembly block of the relay and safety locks. Then start up the engine and wait its stops. It is necessary for pressure decrease in injection system.


Removal of a head of the block of cylinders carry out in the following order:
– disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery;
– merge cooling liquid;
– disconnect sleeves and hoses of system of cooling from a head of the block of cylinders;
– disconnect and remove high-voltage wires together with a cover of the distributor of ignition. On DOHC engines remove the ignition distributor from a head of the block of cylinders;
– disconnect and remove a sleeve of supply of air between the air filter or a measuring instrument of a consumption of air and the butterfly valve case;
– disconnect a sleeve of supply of warm air from a final collector;
– disconnect a hose of ventilation of a case of the engine from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders or an inlet collector;
– disconnect a hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes from an inlet collector;
– mark electric sockets of elements of system of injection of fuel and sensors for the subsequent their correct connection, then disconnect them;
disconnect an accelerator cable from the butterfly valve case;
– disconnect delivery and returnable highways from the central block of injection (Mopo-Jetronic system), the central fuel highway (Digifant system), fuel nozzles (K-Jetronic system or KE-Motronic) and a starting nozzle;.
– disconnect vacuum hoses;
– uncover heads of the block of cylinders, the top casing of a belt of a drive of GRM and a belt a gear pulley of a camshaft (see подразд. 3.1.5). The camshaft can be not removed;
– disconnect a final collector from a reception exhaust pipe;
– disconnect the socket of a wire of the sensor of oxygen;
– unscrew bolts of fastening and remove a protective plate of a belt of a drive of GRM;

– unscrew bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in sequence, their return inhaling (fig. 3.14) , on one turn for pass and remove bolts with washers;
– remove a head of the block of cylinders by means of the elevating device;
– remove laying of a head of the block of cylinders.
Installation of a head of the block of cylinders carry out in the following order:
– establish laying of a head of the block of cylinders on adjusting pins of the block of cylinders up «OBEN» or «TOP» inscription. Before installation be convinced that laying corresponds to engine model. Check, that all openings of laying coincided with openings of the block of cylinders;
– establish a head of the block of cylinders;
– establish and tighten manually bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders with washers;
– tighten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in the sequence given on fig. 3.14 , in three stages the moment (N · м):
The 1st – 40;
The 2nd – 60;
The 3rd — to tighten on 180 °;
– establish pushers and a camshaft (camshafts) if them removed;
– establish a protective plate of a belt of a drive of GRM, a belt, the bottom and top covers of a belt of a drive of GRM;
– connect all removed electric sockets;
– connect fuel highways, vacuum hoses and sleeves of system of cooling;
– fill in cooling liquid;
– connect a reception exhaust pipe to a final collector;
– establish the ignition distributor on DOHC engines;
– connect a cable of an accelerator and check its adjustment;
– check after engine start-up tightness of connections of fuel system, systems of cooling and production of the fulfilled gases.
