Ignition coil
Check of the Digifant control unit is carried out in the following order:

– disconnect electric wires and uncover the ignition coil (see fig. 6.17 );
– connect a tester between plugs 1 (–) and 15 (+) and check resistance of primary winding of the coil of ignition;
– connect a tester between plugs 4 (NT) and 15 (+) and check resistance of a secondary winding of the coil of ignition.

FEI control unit
Check of the FEI control unit carry out in the following order:
– disconnect the FEI control unit socket, then include ignition;

– connect a tester to contacts 3 and the 5th control unit, thus the device should show tension of the accumulator. Tension of the accumulator also should be between contacts 3 and 6 (fig. 6.23) ;
– put in action the butterfly valve switch, thus tension should decrease to zero and then switch off ignition;

– connect a tester to contacts 1 and 3, compare indications to data for the temperature sensor (fig. 6.24) . Replace the sensor in case of need;
– compress fixing uvulas and disconnect the electric socket from the distributor. Connect a tester to external contacts of the electric socket, include ignition, thus tension there should be 5 V.Vyklyuchite ignition;
– connect a tester to plugs 15 (+) and 1 (–) ignition coils (see fig. 6.17 ), then include ignition;
– close on weight the central contact of the distributor (the Hall sensor), thus tension for short time should increase to 2 V.Pri etom noise from the working fuel pump during a short period is audible. Otherwise it is necessary to replace the block of the relay of the fuel pump or the FEI block.

Hall sensor
Check of the sensor of the Hall carry out in the following order:
– check serviceability of the FEI block;
– compress fixing uvulas and disconnect the electric socket from the distributor;
– connect a light-emitting diode sampler to contacts 2 and 6 electric sockets of the control unit, then include a starter. Thus if the sensor of the Hall is serviceable, the light-emitting diode sampler should blink.
