Removal of a gear belt of a drive of GRM is carried out in the following order:
– disconnect the contact socket from the electromagnetic valve останова the engine;
– remove the case of the air filter;
– remove a vekhny casing of the engine (AFN engine);

– remove metal spring brackets and plastic percussion caps or bolts 9 (fig. 3.64) of fastening of the top cover of a drive of GRM and remove the top cover 10 or 20;
– remove a belt of a drive of auxiliary units;
– unscrew bolts of fastening of a pulley of the water pump and remove a pulley;
– establish the cylinder No. 1 piston in VMT of a step of compression (see подразд. 3.3.3);
– unscrew bolts of 4 fastenings of a pulley of a cranked shaft and remove a pulley 2;
– unscrew bolts of fastening and remove brackets of fastening of the bottom cover of 1 or 19th drive of GRM.
AAZ engine:

– check reliability of fixing of a pulley of TNVD a stopping core 1 (see fig. 3.63 );
– unscrew external bolts of fastening of a pulley of TNVD on a half of turn;

       PREVENTION
Do not turn on the central bolt of a pulley of TNVD as it will change installation of the moment of injection of fuel.

– weaken a tension of a gear belt 6 (see fig. 3.64 ) GRM drive, having unscrewed a bolt of the 8th fastening of a tension roller.
Other engines:
– unscrew a bolt of the 8th fastening of a tension roller and remove a tension roller 7 gear belts of a drive of GRM.
All engines:
– note a marker the direction of movement of a gear belt 6 of a drive of GRM in case it will repeatedly establish;
– remove a gear belt 6 of a drive of GRM.
After removal examine a gear belt. In the presence of wear, stratification and other damages it is necessary to replace a belt. In the presence of engine oil on a belt it is necessary to find a place of leak and to eliminate this leak.
Installation of a gear belt of a drive of GRM is carried out in the following order:

– weaken a bolt 1 (fig. 3.65) of fastening of a gear pulley of a camshaft on a turn half;
– remove a gear pulley 2 camshafts from an adjusting cone of a camshaft 4, by means of a drift passed through an opening in a back cover of a drive of GRM;
– establish a gear belt 6 (see fig. 3.64 ) on a gear pulley 18 cranked shaft, a gear pulley of 15 TNVD and a gear pulley 2 (see fig. 3.65 ) a camshaft;
– establish a gear belt 6 the flat party on a pulley 16 intermediate shaft and a tension roller 7.
All engines, except AAZ
– establish directing roller of a gear belt on a back cover of a drive of GRM and tighten a bolt of its fastening;
AAZ engine
– tighten external bolts of fastening of a gear pulley of TNVD;
All engines:
– remove stopping core 1 (see fig. 3.63 ) TNVD pulley;
– be convinced that the right leading branch of a gear belt of a drive GRM passing through pulleys of TNVD and an intermediate shaft, is tense, and the conducted branch of a belt from a tension roller — sags;
– pull a gear belt of a drive of GRM povroty a tension roller clockwise and tighten a bolt of fastening of a tension roller or on the engine with the semi-automatic mechanism of a tension of a gear belt turn a tension roller 7 before combination of labels 8 on a roller and a nave of the mechanism of a tension;
– check a tension of a gear belt, having turned its branch between gear pulleys of a camshaft and TNVD. The belt should turn on a corner 90 °. If it turns on a smaller corner, it is necessary to weaken its tension if on bigger — to pull a belt;
– tighten a bolt of fastening of a gear pulley of a camshaft the moment of 45 N · m;

– remove the adaptation 1 (see fig. 3.62 ) for camshaft latching;

– check combination of all adjusting labels: a flywheel (see fig. 3.61 ), a gear pulley of a camshaft (see fig. 3.5 ) and a gear pulley of TNVD (fig. 3.67) ;
– turn a cranked shaft on two complete revolutions clockwise and repeatedly establish the cylinder No. 1 piston in VMT of a step of compression, be convinced that the stopping core 1 (see fig. 3.63 ) can be freely established in an opening of a gear pulley of TNVD;
– check and adjust if necessary a tension of a gear belt of a drive of GRM;
– establish bottom 1 or 19 (see fig. 3.64 ) and the top 10 or 20th covers of a drive of GRM;
– establish a pulley of the water pump and tighten bolts of its fastening;
– establish a pulley 2 cranked shaft and tighten bolts of its 4 fastenings;
– establish a belt 3 drives of auxiliary units and adjust its tension;
– connect the contact socket of the electromagnetic valve останова the engine;
– check installation of the moment of injection of fuel.
