Engines of liquid cooling, ryadny four-cylinder, with one (SOHC) or two (DOHC) the camshafts located in a head of the block of cylinders, are established cross-section in a forward part of the car. The cranked shaft has five radical bearings. In the central radical bearing persistent half rings by which it is regulated axial люфт a cranked shaft are located. The camshaft is given by a gear belt from a cogwheel of a cranked shaft. The gear belt rotates also intermediate shaft of a drive of the distributor of ignition, the oil pump and on carburetor engines of the fuel pump. Cams of a camshaft press on valves through hydraulic pushers which automatically compensate thermal gaps of valves. On DOHC engines from a cranked shaft by means of a gear belt the camshaft of final valves from which in turn by means of chain transfer the camshaft of inlet valves is given is given. The oil pump of shesterenchaty type, is established in the engine pallet.
Without removal of the engine from the car it is possible to perform the following works:
— compression check in cylinders;
— removal and installation of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders;
— removal and installation of a head of the block of cylinders;
— removal and installation of a pulley and cogwheel of a cranked shaft;
— replacement of cuffs of a cranked shaft;
— removal and installation of a belt of a drive of GRM;
— replacement of the oil filter;
— removal and installation of the oil pump;
— removal and installation of the oil pallet;
— removal and flywheel installation;

— replacement of support of the power unit (engine, coupling and transmission assembled) (fig. 3.1) .
For removal of intermediate and cranked shaft it is necessary to dismantle previously the engine from the car.
