Removal of forward brake shoes carry out in the following order:

weaken bolts of fastening of a forward wheel, will hang out a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a wheel and remove a wheel;

NOTE Surely make replacement of all blocks of one axis of the car even if the limit of wear were reached by only one block. If blocks are repeatedly established, before removal they are necessary for marking.

unscrew two bolts of fastening of a support to the holder of a support. Pay attention that bolts of fastening of a support самоконтрящиеся and have various length;

disconnect the holder of a brake hose from a rotary fist;

take a support from the holder of a support and a wire tie up a support to a forward suspension bracket;

PREVENTION Do not involve for support fastening to a suspension bracket a brake hose. Watch that the brake hose did not stretch and it was not overwound.

remove spring clamps of brake shoes;

take brake shoes.

Installation of forward brake shoes carry out in the following order:

clear a support and the piston of a dust and dirt;

press the piston into a support. It can be made a wooden core or the hammer handle. Track, that the piston had no distortion and its surface, as well as a boot surface, had no damages.

PREVENTION At piston installation brake liquid is forced out from the brake cylinder in a broad tank. Therefore it is necessary to supervise liquid level in a tank and if necessary a syringe to select from a tank a small amount of liquid.

At the maximum wear of brake shoes check ease and smoothness of moving of the piston. For this purpose insert into a support wooden whetstone and ask the assistant to press a brake pedal smoothly. The piston should easily and to leave a support smoothly.

Surely replace spring clamps of brake shoes. Spring clamps establish the short party inside.

establish in the holder of a support the bottom spring clamp of brake shoes. Put the top spring clamp and insert in the holder of a support sideways over clamps an internal brake shoe. The internal brake shoe has a smaller surface of a slip.

establish an external brake shoe;

PREVENTION At stronger pressing of a support to the holder, spring clamps of brake shoes that can lead to emergence of noise in the brake mechanism are deformed.

establish a support in the holder of a support and press it so that it was possible to screw in fastening bolts;

establish bolts and tighten them the demanded moment. Longer bolts are usually established from above;

fix the holder of a brake hose on a rotary fist;

repeat operation on an opposite wheel;

check level of brake liquid in a tank. Level should not exceed «Max» mark. Several times press a brake pedal in order that blocks nestled on a disk, and repeatedly check level of brake liquid in a tank;

establish wheels and lower the car.
